Charlie is an 8-year-old Duck Toller who loves swimming, children, and opening presents, especially if they are not his. He is irrepressible and silly, and you can teach him anything in 10 seconds flat. Almost anything. A few things get lost in translation. For example, “Don’t lick the blasted floor!” apparently means “Don’t lick this part of the blasted floor. Go and lick that part over there!” We’re working on it …..
Beautiful, Susan, and a lovely idea I will sit with because I’ve been to some of those ‘thin places’ without knowing the term. Thank you, Patty de Llosa
